Elaine approached me via social media to create a logo mark for her start-up, Dyslexia Solutions Scotland. She wanted something friendly and approachable that still retained a professional look.
As the business is providing dyslexia assessments for both adults and children, she wanted it to look appealing to both. Something that isn’t boring, whilst not appearing too childish.
We went with a rounded and easy to read font, with glyphs that match handwriting case (for example, the letter a). This is a key point for accessibility.
The blue is representative of learning, whilst the yellow and orange are to represent the colour sheets used to support reading with dyslexia.
The logo mark features a book that forms into a pencil.

Client Voices
Working with Freya was a fantastic experience. I came to Freya for a logo and didn’t have any ideas of what I wanted. She listened to all my requirements and took these on board during the design process. Freya created a logo that I could never have come up with myself and I’m delighted with it. Freya is a very talented lass and I highly recommend working with her.
