The Great Sandwich Heist was a mock brief I completed as a passion project to showcase more of my cover design abilities and illustration skills.
The brief was to create a cover for a comedy genre book titled ‘The Great Sandwich Heist’, the book is written in a similar style to the work of Richard Osman.
I drew a lot of inspiration from the design work of Saul Bass – particularly his work for Catch Me If You Can. Tonally I referenced the existing covers of Richard Osman’s work, but haven’t directly referenced this.
